Crystal oscillator operates at 250 deg. C
    Industrial Control Designline
Vectron International's announced PX-420 crystal oscillator is able to withstand continuous operating temperatures of up to 250 degrees Celsius and is ideal for harsh environment applications, including oil and gas downhole operations.

The PX-420's frequency stability is achieved using an advanced quartz resonator design together with silicon on insulator technology in order to meet high-reliability requirements demanded by harsh environment applications.

The full scale temperaure operation ranges from -55 to 250 degrees C.

Vectron International uses bulk acoustic wave (BAW) and surface acoustic wave (SAW) based designs for devices that operate from dc to microwave frequencies .
